Scientific poster

• Abstracts must be written in English, abstracts submitted in other languages will not be accepted.
• The maximum number of authors allowed per abstract is 7, including the main author or presenter.
• A person can be the presenting author for a maximum of three abstracts.
• Once submitted, abstracts cannot be updated with new data if it significantly changes the conclusions.
• The summarized Curriculum Vitae of the first author should be included with the abstract form.
• An email address is mandatory to receive information about the submitted abstract.
• By submitting the abstract, the author grants the Scientific Committee of the Congress the right to publish the abstracts in electronic form for dissemination in different media.
• For post-congress dissemination on the Lifestyle, Diet, Wine Health 2025 website, it is requested to send an electronic version of the poster to [email protected]
• The awarded authors should present their work (5 min) in a special session in the afternoon, 27 March, 2025.
• Submission of the abstract implies full acceptance of all the stated criteria. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject any abstract that does not adhere to these criteria.
• Abstract acceptance or rejection will be notified via email by February 21st, 2025.
• To ensure inclusion in the e-Abstract Book, the presenting author must be registered at the Congress by February 21st, 2025.

It is essential to pay attention to correct spelling and punctuation and follow the guidelines regarding format and style. No further format or content corrections will be made by the Scientific Committee or reviewers.

• The abstract should be written in sentence case, not in capital or lower case, and should not be bolded. It should contain the following information: authors’ full names and surnames, affiliation (institutions and country), title (maximum 30 words), contents (including background and objectives, methods, results, and discussion), and up to 5 keywords.
• Authors must select the thematic areas in which they wish to present their abstract at the time of submission.
• The abstract body should not exceed 350 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).
• The text should be in Times New Roman 10, single spaced. One table and one figure could be included.
• Only original works will be accepted, and copies or reproductions will be rejected.

• The topics at the second international “Lifestyle, Diet, Wine and Health Congress” are: Mediterranean diet, lifestyle, longevity, wine and science, food, evidence-based nutrition, gastronomy, healthy aging, and society. Priority will be given to works related to these topics.
• The Scientific Committee reserves the right to limit the number of accepted posters by each author or working group based on exhibition possibilities.

• Abstracts should be submitted via the online form available on this page.
• Abstracts sent by fax or post will not be accepted.
• If you are submitting more than one abstract, you must repeat the whole process for each abstract.

• For poster presentations, printed posters must be brought on the first day of the Congress. Additionally, they should be sent in electronic format to [email protected] before a specified date that will be announced, for post-congress dissemination, following the specifications of .jpg format, 300 dpi, and print quality.
• Poster measurements should not exceed 90 cm wide x 170 cm high (portrait orientation), with a header line 15 cm high, including the title, authors, and affiliations in letters no smaller than 2.5 cm. Abbreviations and acronyms should be avoided in the typography.
• The Scientific Committee will award prizes for the best poster. A first prize of 500 € and second and third prize of 300 €.
