George Sandeman

Founder and CEO of bespoke consulting firm EX AMPULLA, with over 40 years of experience in the wine sector, George has been Vice President of Marketing for Seagram Chateau Wines in NY, Chairman and Vice President of Strategic Brand Planning for Sandeman, and a Board Member of Sogrape Vinhos SA. He currently serves as Vice-President of CEEV-Comité Vins in Brussels and has served as President of CEEV, ACIBEV- Wine & Spirits Association of Portugal, AEVP-Association of Port Wine Companies, WINE IN MODERATION, and Chancellor of the Confraria do Vinho do Porto.

Leading the development of the Responsible Service Program in Portugal, George has carried out training sessions for Professionals and Students alike.

George received the Masi International Prize Civilita del Vino for his contribution to WINE IN MODERATION, and the OIV Merit Award for his contribution to the wine sector. He is a guest lecturer at the Porto Business School and the Lisbon and Porto Catolica Business Schools.
