Nicolai Worm

Nicolai Worm was born in Munich and studied „Nutritional Sciences“ at the University of Munich. Then he joined the Institute of Social Medicine, Prevention and Rehabilitation in Tutzing (Germany) as research fellow and managed an EU-project on the epidemiology of coronary heart disease in association with dietary fats. He was a lecturer at the Academy of Sports in Cologne and at the University of Innsbruck (Austria). In 1993, he received his PhD in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Giessen. Between 2008 and 2020 he was professor at the University for Prevention and Health Management (Deutsche Hochschule für Prävention und Gesundheitsmanagement, DHPG) teaching nutrition.

For more than 35 years, Dr. Worm has been working as a scientific consultant for various institutions. In Germany, Dr. Worm is well known for his public appearances on TV, Radio and Print and as an author of various best selling books.
